Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo and 7 Card Stud (regular and H/L) all await you at Absolute Poker. No Limit games are plentiful in Texas Hold'em and the traffic is decent, with 600 to 800 real money players in cash ring games, and tournament players up to 700 to 1100 during peak hours.
Your stakes are not too high here, with $15/30 being the highest unless you are playing Holdem, which has $50/100 high. Absolute Poker is a beginner friendly site, with plenty of soft games, but a lot of action in the tournaments with a few sharks swimming around.
The graphics and interactive nature of the software is what really sells Absolute Poker. You download the software and then mosey on up to a table, where you can actually order a drink or a snack, customize your avatar and then take advantage of the features. You can find specific players (great for hunting down a buddy- or a fish!) view flop percentages, hand stats and more.
The rake is industry standard, 5% up to $3.00, which is made even more reasonable by their no flop/no drop policy. What this means is that a hand that does not reach the flop does not get raked.
Customer support is limited in options (email only) but fairly quick and helpful, and tournaments are really easy to find and take part in. All in all a great site.
